I know this is not exactly Black Hollyhood but the ABC's premier night last night was great! Don't tell anybody but Ugly Betty is my show! The show features America Ferrera as Betty, Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater, and Eric Mabius as Daniel Meade. The show is a very good show.

"A Maryland woman who had fudge packed in her purse was arrested last week on charges that she burglarized an Annapolis candy store. Catherine Anne Delgado, 35, was nabbed after police responded to the Maryland House Hotel, where they found her crying in the lobby. According to an Annapolis Police Department report, Delgado had chocolate smeared on her arms and shirt, and there was so much unwrapped chocolate in her purse that it was spilling out onto a hotel sofa. As cops investigated, Delgado unsuccessfully tried to flush fudge bricks down a hotel toilet. The "large amount of fudge" clogged up the toilet, reported police. Delgado was charged with swiping ten fudge loafs valued at about $70 and five M&M pretzels worth $19.45. Plies is being Sued

For those who care, Plies is being sued. According to XXL, Patrick Monfiston of P Entertainment Promotions filed a suit in an Alabama Circuit Court against Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic Records artist Plies and his management team for breach of contract and slander.

Monfiston alleged Plies never showed up to a scheduled performance at a July 8 show in Montgomery, Ala. The next day yo boy Plies was on Hot 105 claiming he never received payment to perform so he didn't show up for the show. Monfiston has denied the claim and gave a copy of a wire transfer for $5,500 to Plies ISA Bomb Entertainment management team to the Montgomery Advertiser as alleged proof. “Too many artists feel they can come in and do us however they want,” Monfiston told the Montgomery Advertiser. “I’m going to show them they’re wrong. If Plies attempts to perform any show here, I will have him arrested. He must fulfill the terms of his contract first.”

According to MTV.com, "two people were injured at the concert when pyrotechnics reportedly spilled into the front row." No Ma'am! I'm good back here in the 10th row. Thats as close as I'm getting!

But anyway, Beyoncé made a surprise visit to the emergency room where the victims were taken. Darryl Williams, head nurse at the hospital, told Associated Press that Beyoncé, who met with the victims for 45 minutes, "was just very concerned about the people injured in the audience. [Her visit] was unannounced and we kept it very low-key so that she could spend time with them." A spokesperson for Barnes-Jewish Hospital told the news service that the injuries were minor and both victims were expected to make full recoveries.

The closing track, a ballad a country crooner could have had a good time with, nevertheless gets to the bottom of why this disc is so worth shelling out for: The love Rowland sings about on "This Is Love" is "like a diamond in the sand"; so, we come to realize, is she."

Yes, ya gurl from 54th and Crenshaw! Saaphyri was named the winner of VH-1's Flavor of Love Charm School on last night finale. I missed the actual episode, but I ain't even stressing 'cause VH-1 is gonna replay it every hour on the hour. You feel me? I'll be able to see it. Anyway, I'm glad she won the 50 thousand. She deserved and needed it the most. Congratulations!

50 gave excuses why his award show performance wasn't worth a damn at BET.com. I don't know if yall watched the BET awards Tuesday night, but his performance of "Amusement Park" was straight garbage. Quiet as it's kept, I think that fool just forgot his words, but whatev. I'm not really a fan of 50, but the song aint half bad. His next album "Curtis" drops September 4th. The original release date was set for June 26th. Can somebody say Kelly Rowland?

I am so confused. Thursday, Concrete Loop posted pictures of Diddy gettin cozy with a ~~home-wrecking skeezer~~ model by the name of Claudia Jordan. She was linked to Maurice Green recently and Diddy was/is linked to Kim Porter, mother of 3 of 4 of his children. Now word is that Diddy and Claudia are just friends. They just happened to pose for the camera . . . Flick-Flick . . . when they ran into each other at the BET Award Show this past week.

This does not look like no damn award show to me! Diddy, what's going on? We wanna know, and Kim definitely wants to know what the deal is!
